Ice Skating inside

To go along with our learning of winter we went to the gym or our "frozen pond" to ice skate. The children had a great time skating around and pretending to be famous ice skaters.

Cookie Cutter Painting

Mrs. Ann Frost's first grade class came and painted with cookie cutters. We had so much fun making our prints. We used Christmas colors, red and green to make our art work. Thank for coming and painting with us.

Fun Events in the upcoming weeks

We are going to be joining with other classes during the next few weeks of school. If you would like to join us please come by on the days listed below. We hope to see you there. We will also be making crafts and other fun things throughout the weeks.

Wednesday, December 9 - Mrs. Ann Frost's 1st grade will help us make Christmas collages 9 am

Thursday, December 10 - Mrs. Barbara DeWeese's 1st grade will help us make Christmas cookies.

Monday, December - Mrs. Trisha Ellis's 3rd grader will watch the Polar Express with us and drink hot cocoa 8:15 am

Tuesday, December 15 - Mrs. Shannon Housley's 1st grade will help us make edible Christmas trees 9:00 am

Wednesday, December 16 - Christmas Caroling around the school 8:15 am

Wednesday, December 16 - Christmas Dinner with parents. $ 3 per adult. Limit 2 adults per child.

Thursday, December 17 - Mrs. Charlotte Estabrook's 1st grade will help us make potato lakes 9:00 am.

Thursday, December 17 - Ollie the Otter program

Friday, December 18 - Santa visits at 9 am, Christmas party 9:30 am, Mrs. Tammy Clayton's 4th graders come to read Christmas stories at 10:30am

Santa will bring each child a gift. We will not be doing a gift exchange this year. If you bring a sibling to the Christmas party and Santa visit please bring your child a gift for Santa to give them if you would like. He will be only be bringing gifts for the students. Thank you for your understanding.
